With 2,016 sq. ft of exposed brick and hardwood floors with industrial style iron elements, The Brickhouse is perfect for City Lovers. The downtown jewel offers floor to ceiling windows on the front facade that not only lets in amazing light all day, it features an amazing view of the city before you.

FAQ’S

FOR THE BRICKHOUSE RVA

What days are available for booking?

Our collaboration is currently for Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at The Brickhouse. Please book asap for maximum availability.

Are we permitted to make food for our event?

A licensed and insured caterer is required. If the catering company does not provide a staff member to set up, serve food/beverages, replenish, bus tables and clean up at the end of the event... we have a list of preferred staff to hire for this task

Is there parking for the venue?

Yes, street parking is available. Currently, there is a parking lot across the street that the businesses on the block use. Please keep in mind, it is first come, first serve. We are not able to hold spots. We are not responsible for vehicles parked in the parking lot.

Do you set up our decor items?

We prefer for you to have a stress free process and we suggest to set up your decor items for you, however there are certain things we don’t have the expertise in setting up. For example: balloon arches, etc.

Do you have handicap accessible bathrooms?

Yes, we have 2 ADA compliant bathrooms available

Can we provide our own alcohol?

Yes, you can provide your own alcohol, but will need to obtain a one day banquet license for the hired bartender to serve alcohol at your event. If you provide the alcohol you will need to get the license, but if your caterer is providing the alcohol, the caterer provides the ABC license. We are happy to share a link to obtain the ABC license. You can apply for it online.

Can the artwork be removed from the walls for my event?

No, the artwork cannot be removed from the walls.

How can I add more hours onto my event?

Please let us know at booking

When can I drop off decor for my event?

When you have your final meeting with the Events Team we will discuss a date/time for dropping off your decor.

When can everyone arrive prior to the event?

For example: if you choose the 6pm to 9pm package then your vendors can start arriving and setting up at 5pm. The client arrives at 5:30pm. Your guests can start to arrive at 6pm. We are happy to go over this in the tour and final meeting.

When does clean up begin and end?

For example: if you get the 6-9pm package, the clean up process begins at 8:30pm and clean up completed by 9:00pm.

Can I just have Chic-Fil-A or another company like that drop off food and leave?

Yes, you can, however a staff member is required to be here for the duration of the event. We have a list of preferred staff that have been here before for our events to serve, replenish, set up, break down, and bus tables.

How late can my event go on for?

If you choose the 8pm-9pm package and add an additional hour at the end, clean up has to be completed and leave by 10pm due to a noise ordinance in the building.

How many guests can the space hold?

Our events are for parties of 25 but the building can accommodate up to 50 seated. You may add up to 25 more guests at $60 each.

Can we use the loft or downstairs?

No one is permitted in the office loft or behind doors that say “Employees Only.”
